Britt has been a registered nurse for 13 years and spent over a decade of that time in the Emergency Department. She also has experience as a home infusion nurse and transfer coordinator. She embarked on the journey of nurse coaching because of a deep desire to help promote wellness and alleviate suffering, especially in those who work in the healthcare community. Britt utilizes powerful questions and self-inquiry to help clients identify what they truly need to live a healthy, balanced, and purposeful life, and assists those who care for others learn how to rest and care for themselves in a deep, holistic, and sustainable way.
Becca has been working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for over 8 years. She spent 5 of those years as a traveling nurse gaining invaluable experience being immersed in different ERs across the US and the Virgin Islands. In each place she traveled she saw more clearly the barriers that individuals face in achieving true healing within the confines of our current healthcare system.
Her strong desire to facilitate healing on a deeper level led her in a new direction and she received training in holistic health and wellness nurse coaching. Becca now uses her years of clinical experience, insights gained throughout her travels, and passion for holistic health to help clients discover the root cause of their suffering and take steps towards reaching their optimum level of health.
Becca has a strong passion for mental health and her gift is working with those struggling from anxiety and depression. She believes that an individual cannot achieve a state of wellness without first developing a strong and resilient mind and a state of mental harmony.
"As a Holistic Health and Wellness healer I honor the innate wisdom and power that resides in all human beings. I believe that this innate wisdom and power, once harvested, can be used to heal oneself."
“My life was extremely busy before starting life coaching with Amy. My coaching sessions were focused on things going on in my life and how I could work through events and still have time for me. At first, I was not sure what the sessions would focus on. The discussion was always focused on me, things I wanted to talk about, and ways I could improve my overall wellbeing. I looked forward to my sessions and enjoyed coaching sessions with Amy. During the time I was attending life coaching sessions, a difficult life event occurred within my family. I knew my life coaching session was coming up soon and it was therapeutic for me to discuss the situation and ways to put everything in perspective to move past the negative and towards the positive. I'm genuinely pleased I was selected to go through these sessions with Amy, she is a fabulous life coach. Everyone needs a life coach like Amy.”

“When I started working with Amy, I was still dealing with issues of seeing myself as important. We worked together to develop some self-care strategies to use. It has helped tremendously. I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke several years ago, which left me unemployed and feeling worthless. Amy was able to help me see my importance outside of earning a paycheck. I am still worthy, and she helped me see that. I still see myself as less than, but we were able to develop some small self-care items, like eating a good meal, and taking care of myself physically (bathing more often, going back to the gym alone).
I think Amy is a great listener. She didn’t rush me to an answer, but would let me mull over her question and come up with a solution on my own. She helped guide me to seeing for myself my worth. Insights have been many. Of importance, I am worthy, and this worth is not tied to earning money. What I contribute is substantial, though not monetarily. I’ve learned I also believe worth is heavily tied to money. I’ve too learned to speak up for myself with my family through working with Amy. Her insights both as a mom and working nurse make her an excellent source of knowledge from her life experiences she brings. I would recommend Amy to any woman needing help to see self-worth even in my situation. She is encouraging and empathetic, two traits critically valuable as a nurse coach.”

“Working with Amy was an eye-opening experience. She pushed me to ask myself why I wanted to improve my health and to dig deeper than that, encouraging me to speak to myself more kindly and to feel accomplished rather than discouraged as I put in the work. Now, when I start to speak to myself negatively, I stop, reflect, and change the narrative. I would recommend Amy for anyone struggling with self-image. She is such a positive person and really helped me to improve my motivation and feelings surrounding my mental and physical health.”

“Amy makes me comfortable which makes sharing easier. Amy’s willingness to share her own experiences is very helpful and makes me feel like I’m not the only one who is going through this. I love how specific Amy’s questions are and how she uses the answers to make actionable next steps. Setting goals really made it work for me and although I’m struggling a bit this week, I know I can build on the initial goals and use those tools going forward.
After speaking with Amy, I got back to some exercise and started swimming again. I completed a very short biathlon and didn’t die. I am aware of some of the things I do and don’t do that are not helping me, like not responding to text messages and choosing cleaning over cuddling with my kids. Awareness is the first step right?
Some new insights are that it doesn’t change fast, don’t expect big results quickly! Amy said this in our first session, and I keep reminding myself. I need to be in this for the long game, my body may not change much but if I keep exercising regularly, my body will get stronger and I will feel better. I would recommend Amy’s Coaching to anyone struggling to take that first step in improving their life.”

“I am a single working mom, working with youths who have social/emotional issues and spend my days focusing on other’s needs, with little consideration of my own needs. I tend to give my time and energy to others even if it means depriving myself of what I require to “fill my cup” which can leave me feeling empty. I also struggle with taking credit for being a strong person and overcoming difficulties in my life. I have also stopped exercising because I don’t have the time or in reality, don’t take the time to do what I used to enjoy.
First and foremost, Amy helped me by cheering me on and listening to what I had to say. She is a good listener and allowed me to express any thought or feeling I was experiencing at any time during our conversations, without judgment. She encouraged me to focus on my strengths, needs, and doing things for myself that would benefit not only me, but my clients and my 2 boys. Amy helped me to focus on getting back to exercising/running, something I used to do daily and that taking time for myself, is not a selfish thing to do but something that is necessary for health and happiness.
I have started exercising by taking my dogs on short walks, which will hopefully develop into going back to the gym and possibly running again. I would definitely recommend Amy to my friends and family, who are seeking to connect with a coach who cares about them as a person and the struggles they are experiencing. She had the ability to listen, identify, and reflect on my needs as an individual. I appreciate the time she spent with me and the invaluable assistance she provided, as my coach.”

"I completed five sessions with Amy and I'm very happy with the results. She allowed me to be vulnerable, and she created a safe place for me to express myself honestly with feeling no judgment. Amy truly cared about me and helped me move past my obstacles. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone. Especially those who need a little extra support and tenderness to truly feel into their emotions. I can say I feel more confident and motivated. Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation."

"I loved working with Britt! Not only is she extremely kind and patient she is also non judgemental and easy to talk to. My favorite part of her and the way she coached was the questions that she would ask. She would ask questions that made me think outside of the box. I am already an insightful person but she still managed to ask the right questions that made me look at myself and my situation in other views.
I had alot of relationship issues with men when we started, and her coaching helped keep me accountable for my goals that I had for myself. She listened to what I wanted for myself and helped me see that for my future. I found myself looking forward to our sessions and was sad to see it end...But I've obtained enough tools to keep moving forward with my goals. I would recommend Britt over and over again to anybody who just needs a little guidance into reaching their goals."

"I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Britt. She embodies the qualities of an exceptional coach, with profound insight and wisdom that stems from genuine care and dedication. Her ability to ask discerning questions empowered me to explore answers that I had previously sensed but struggled to articulate until our coaching sessions. We also had a lot of fun discussing and laughing about life and she made me feel very comfortable sharing aspects of my life.
I would recommend Britt as a coach to anyone. As mentioned, she has an innate ability to put herself in other people’s shoes and try and understand what they really want to get out of the sessions. Though, if there was a specific type of person I would recommend her to, it would be to someone who experiences tension and conflict at work and those with higher stress jobs."

"Working with Britt was such an amazing experience. When I started working with her I had just quit my job to focus full time on my dreams. I was feeling unsure, afraid, like a disappointment and overwhelmed. I wanted to reset my life to create what I wanted it to be moving forward not just in my career but in my personal life as well.
Brit was right by my side the whole way. She was so supportive and understanding. She helped me see what really mattered to me and gave me resources to further Improve my life. She guided me through visualization of my perfect life and home. She asked me questions that made me think and really pause.
I not only recommend nurse coaching so highly, but working with Britt. She is so insightful and has so much experience. She really understands where you are coming from and lights the path for where you want to be. "

"I sought out Nurse Coaching because I felt as if I was not balanced in my life.
I was on my way to being a hoarder and I became concerned when some closet doors were simply not closing again. The thought of cleaning them out became overwhelming.
Britt Harris is very kind, empathetic, and not judgmental in the least.
Together we set some goals and I felt I was able to accomplish them and although I'm not quite there yet, I see a less cluttered life in my future."
